Reclaiming Overgrown Gardens

Jamie's Garden Services regularly undertakes commissions to reclaim gardens that have been allowed to get completely overgrown for a number of years. The grass can be well above knee height. This often involves the following:
- Areas of weed infestations killed before clearing.
- The grass cut down to a manageable height and the cuttings cleared.
- The lawn mowed.
- The lawn feed with a grass feed treatment to return it from the brown dead look to a vibrant green.
- Bushes, hedges and shrubs all need cutting back to a manageable height.
- Pathways cleared.
- Unwanted vegetation cut down and cleared.
- All waste removed from site and legally disposed of at an authorised site.

It should be noted that hedges should not be cut during the period from the 1 March to the 31 August if the work you are doing will affect nesting birds... It is an offence under Section 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act of 1981 to intentionally take, damage or destroy the nest of any wild bird while it is in use or being built, or to intentionally kill, injure or take chicks or adults, or intentionally take or destroy any eggs.
