At Jamie's Garden Services your Privacy, Private Details and Information is treated with the upmost respect. Jamie's Garden Services has the policy that it will NOT sell, pass on or distribute your personal details to third parties. The only time that any or part of your personal details will be passed on is if there is a genuine reason to do so. (See Question 3)..

Q1: What details will Jamie's Garden Services hold on file in the course of doing business with you?

When you contact us

The information you provide (personal information such as name, address, email address, phone number, organisation) will be processed and stored to enable us to contact you and respond to your correspondence, provide information and/or access our facilities and services. Your personal information will be not shared or provided to any other third party.

Q2: Why are these details being held?

• To Supply Quotes.

• To Supply Invoices.

• For Tax Accounting and Compliance in accordance with the UK Taxation, Accounting and Anti Money Laundering Laws.

• To comply with UK Laws and Legal Record Keeping (ie The Spraying of Herbicides & Pesticides).

Q3: Is there ever an occasion where all or part of my details could be supplied to a third party?

• Yes… The only time I would foresee any part of your details be given to a third party would be for:

• For the purposes of arranging a delivery of materials for work being carried out.

(This would be a delivery address and Contact Number)

• For Tax Accounting and Compliance in accordance with the UK Taxation, Accounting and Anti Money Laundering Laws.

• For the facilitation of the collection of unpaid debts through the courts and debt collection agents.

• To comply with any lawful request made by the authorities in accordance with UK law.

Q4: How long will you hold my details /Information for?

• Currently your details will be held for seven years for the purposes of Tax Accounting and Compliance in accordance with the UK Taxation, Accounting and Anti Money Laundering Laws.

Q5: Can I as a customer request information on what details / information Jamie’s Garden Services holds on me?

• Yes you can. I would ask that you send a written request to Jamie's Garden Services and this information will be supplied to you in due course.

Q6: Is any customer information or personal details held on-line?

• Jamie's Garden Services does not currently have a customer interface web facility so no customer details will be held on a website hosted facility. At some stage Jamie's Garden Services may have a business website but this will be to promote the business and won’t be for holding customer details.

• Emailed communications will be held on commercial servers from service providers. Currently using • Apple Email Service.

•Any FaceBook Messages will be sent and stored using the FaceBook Communications Servers.

You should always be mindful that any communications sent to Jamie's Garden Services will be via an external server and you should therefore be mindful what information you are sending.

Conclusion: 

In accordance with the law, we only collect a limited amount of information about you that is necessary for correspondence, information and service provision. We do not use profiling, we do not sell or pass your data to third parties. We do not use your data for purposes other than those specified. We make sure your data is stored securely. We delete all information deemed to be no longer necessary. We constantly review our Privacy Policies to keep it up to date in protecting your data.
