Reclaiming Overgrown Gardens - Case Study 1
This was a once loved front and rear garden in Rhayader that sadly fell in to neglect when the original owner went into a care home. Jamie's Garden Services was commissioned to bring the garden back into a manageable state so that the property could be sold.
There was a lot of hard work to bring the property back to this condition. The following tasks were undertaken:
- Spraying of Weed Killer on the pathways and hard standing areas.
- The grass was brought back under control.
- Lawn feed treatments were applied.
- Pathways and hard sanding areas were cleared.
-Bushes and Shrubs were also pruned back to more manageable sizes.
- The grass was regularly mowed for the next few months to maintain its appearance.
- Some trees were also pruned.
-All waste was legally removed from site and disposed of.
The before and after picture represents the transformation over a period of 6x weeks.

Reclaiming Overgrown Gardens- Case Study 2
This was a once loved large front and rear garden in Llandrindod Wells that sadly fell in to neglect when the original owner passed on. Jamie's Garden Services was commissioned by the family to bring the garden back into a manageable state so that the property could be sold.
There was a lot of hard work to bring the property back to this condition. The following tasks were undertaken:
- Spraying of Weed Killer on the pathways and hard standing areas was done in advance of any work being undertaken.
- The grass was brought back under control from a knee length to a more manageable length.
- Lawn feed treatments were applied.
- Pathways and hard sanding areas were cleared.
-Bushes and Shrubs were also pruned back to more manageable sizes.
- Hedges were cut back and shaped
- The grass was regularly mowed for the next few months to maintain its appearance.
- Saplings were cutdown and stump killed.
- Some trees were also pruned.
- A small damaged tree was felled and removed
-All waste was legally removed from site and disposed of.
- A further application of weed killer was applied to the paved areas after a couple of months to ensure that that all unwanted vegetation was that appears between the paving joints was eradicated.

There was a lot of hard work to bring the property back to this condition.
The following tasks were undertaken:
- Over grown lawns brought back under control.
- Vegetation and brambles smashed down.
- Hedges cut back, shaped, and reduced in height.
- Trees cut back, and pruned to avoid damage to the properties roof.
- Weeds killed and removed from pathways.
-All waste was legally removed from site and disposed of.

This was a once loved rear garden in Llandrindod Well that sadly fell in to neglect.
Jamie's Garden Services was commissioned to helping the client get a very overgrown garden back under control to create a blank canvas for them.
Although the lawn looks very brown and dead in the pictures at this stage. Which is only to beexpected after such a harsh cutback. But with some lawn feed applied and along with overseeding, it will come back good in a few months.
There was a lot of hard work to bring the property back to this condition.
The following tasks were undertaken:
- Vegetation and brambles smashed down.
- Lawn Feed & Weed treatment applied
- The lawn area has been reseeded (It is a bit late in the year for reseeding, But everything helps).
- Hedges cut back.
- Trees Cut back, Reduced in Height, and Reshaped.
- The Leylandii had to be reduced.
-All waste was legally removed from site and disposed of.

- Hedges cut back.

- The Leylandii had to be hard cut back (harder than I would have liked, but some times it just has to be done) as it had completely overgrown the pathway.
-All waste was legally removed from site and disposed of.
