A customer had a large Oak tree that was overgrowing the space available. Branches were threatening their home and a neighbouring property.
It was decided that careful pruning of a number of branches was required to reduce areas of the crown to resolve the issue. A search was down with the local authority to see if the trees was in a conservation area or had a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) on it. The search came back that there wasn't any protection orders so a there was no need for an application to the local authority planing office to be made to be able to carry out work.
The relevant work was undertaken by a small team to resolve the issues and selective pruning was undertaken.

A Llandrindod Wells customer needed to have 13x Ash Trees with Ash Die-Back, and a dead Conifer tree taken down.
Jamie's Garden Services carried out the following work:
- The 13x trees were taken down in sections to reduce the canopy and the stems felled due to there location.

A customer in Rhayader who originally planted some Laurel shrubs and a couple of Lleylandii Trees with a view to adding some screening. Over the years where no maintenance was undertaken they became out of control and the Laurel and Lleylandii grew bigger than the house.
The customer decided that it would be better to clear the area for the views.

A customer in the Llanbister area, who had a large Wild Cherry Tree and a Silver Birch that was very close to their property and on a bank with a small area for the root base plate to secure the trees, became concerned as to their viability during the storms. Both trees had become very overbearing and risked potentially falling over on to the property.

For the Silver Birch Tree:
- The tree was climbed to a level high enough to put a pull rope into the tree.
- It was then felled at a height to miss the fence when it came down.
- All the breash was chipped and the stem was logged up into firewood.
For the large Wild Cherry Tree:
- The tree was climbed and felled in sections using rigging where needed.
- Some of the tree's limbs reached out over the proprty and the tree surgeon had to branch walk out to the ends of the branches, where he attached a rigging rope on to the ends. This was so that the branch tips could be raised off and away from the property before they were lowered.
- The brash was chipped and removed from site.
- The stem was also brought down to ground level and cut up into firewood.

Emergency Wind-Blown Storm-Damaged Tree Clearance in Howey Llandrindod Wells Jamie's Garden Services .
The tree had blown over in high winds and is pictures laying accross the Howey to Newbridge Road.

- Re-seated the up-rooted Root system back into the ground.

One of the upper stems failed due to rot in the join where the lower main stem forks. This resulted in a large part of the tree's crown collapsing and blocking access to the clients and others property.
